Privacy Policy
How Qayamo collects, uses, and protects your information.
Short version: we collect what we need to run bookings (your name, contact, and booking
details), we never sell your data, and we only share it where necessary to complete a booking.
1. Information we collect
- Account details: name, email, phone number, and password.
- Booking details: the property, dates, number of guests, and payment confirmation you provide.
- Payment proof: the screenshot/reference you upload to confirm payment (stored privately, not publicly accessible).
- Technical data: IP address, device/browser info, and usage for security and improving the service.
2. Signing in with Google
If you choose Continue with Google, Google shares with us only your name, email address and
profile picture (basic profile and email). We use them only to create your Qayamo account and sign you in. We do
not see your Google password, and we do not access your contacts, Gmail, Drive, calendar or any other Google data.
We do not sell this information, share it with property owners beyond the name and email needed for a booking, or use it
for advertising. Our use of information received from Google follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including
its Limited Use requirements. You can remove Qayamo's access at any time from your Google Account
(myaccount.google.com/permissions) and ask us to delete your account through the Contact page.
3. How we use your information
- To create and manage your account and bookings.
- To verify payments and prevent fraud.
- To send booking confirmations, reminders, and important service messages.
- To provide support and respond to your enquiries.
- To improve and secure the platform.
4. Who we share it with
We share only what's necessary to complete a booking or run the service:
- Property owners receive the booking details needed to host you (owners do not receive your payment screenshots).
- Service providers such as email and error-monitoring tools, under confidentiality.
- Authorities where required by law.
We do not sell your personal information.
5. Payment information
Payments are made manually (e.g. via EasyPaisa, JazzCash or bank transfer) and verified by our team from the proof you
upload. Payment screenshots are stored on a private disk and are only accessible to you and
authorised admins — never publicly and never to other users.
6. Cookies
We use essential cookies to keep you logged in and secure your session. We may use basic
analytics to understand usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
7. Data retention
We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the
service and meet legal obligations. You can request deletion of your account (see below).
8. Your rights
- Access, update, or correct your information from your profile.
- Request a copy or deletion of your data by contacting us.
- Opt out of non-essential messages.
9. Security
We use industry-standard measures (encrypted connections, access controls, private storage
for sensitive files) to protect your data. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep
your information safe.
